Ruins of this Bronze Age tholos nuraghe are located near the local road from Erula to Chiaramonti. The walls made of large basalt stones still stand up to about 5 m of height. The masonry is best exposed at the south and SW.
Nuraghe Pubattu is visible from the road, particularly driving from Chiaramonti to Erula. There is a footpath leading between the buildings of the settlement to the nuraghe.
