As it was discovered in the 1970s the Ober-Mörlen Menhir is still comparatively unknown. The fallen menhir was excavated some hundred meters to the East of its current location. Visible height is approximately 2,5m.
Unfortunately a bench was placed unfavourably close to it. Furthermore it gets more and more hidden by trees and bushes growing right beside it.
Access remarks:
as public traffic is not allowed anymore on the farm road leading along this menhir it is a (pleasant) walk of 3,5km. Suggested (by an inhabitant in August 2011) parking at Ober-Mörlen cemetary.
