Nuraghe in Sardinia (Sardegna)

Nuraghe Cae is a complex nuraghe with the main tower, bastion and two side towers. The entrance passage inside the bastion and its internal spaces are collapsed, but the tholos chamber of the main tower survived in decent condition. The NE tower is in partly preserved, the SE one is heavily damaged.

Existence of the bastion and side towers suggests that the nuraghe was extended in Later Bronze Age. East of the nuraghe there are remains of a circular construction, probably a Nuragic round hut.

The monument is located among the houses in western part of Pozzomaggiore, it is signposted.
