The forested Drumlin Hill Tambrig contains on its top a yet unexplored burial field from the Celtic era, with an unknown number of burial sites under still partially visible burial mounds. An unprofessional exploration by an unknown person., which can be ascertained, has apparently brought nothing to light.
In the chronicle of the neighbouring community of Obfelden, published in 1947, it is noted about the Tambrig burial field: “In Obfelden itself the culture of the Celtic inhabitants has left us nothing. On the other hand, it may be that the group of burial mounds discovered only a few years ago in the Tambrighölzchen near Dachlissen contains burials from this time.”
