Rock Art in India. The site has hundreds of drawings (petroglyphs) etched on rocks depicting humans, animals and birds.
These drawings give a rare insight of Neolithic culture in this place. The Sanganakallu hill complex was a major stone implements factory Close to the base of the hill is a large ash-mound. Sanganakallu is considered as the first village in South India with its history dating back to 3000 BCE.
