Rock Art in Kazakhstan. A concentration of some 5,000 rock carvings dating from the Middle Bronze Age up to to the 20th century, covering an area of around 900ha.

The glyphs have been etched into the smooth rock faces with stone or metal tools and consist mainly of various deities, zoomorphic beings and animals.
