It is 4.7m long, 3.1m wide and 2m high and weighs 44 metrics tons. It is said the stone used to be four times larger but supposedly the stone was reduced in size using dynamite in the 19th century.
The granite stone originates from Uppland, near the current town of Uppsala in Sweden.
