Hillfort in La Nievre
Hilfort of approximately 135 Hectares on top of Mount Beuvray. It was abondoned by the Eduen Gaulish tribe shortly after the defeat of Vercingetorix in Alesia, when the inhabitans settles nearby Autun. There were 5.2 Km of fortified walls, tombs. The pampflet claims there was a cult site at Theurot de la Roche while there was a pagan temple under the present site of the church. The Roche qui Wivre is also at the site. There is now a museum for the site while re-enactments also take place here. On top of Hill.
