Barrow cemetery in Moscow, Russia.

Barrow cemetery of XII-XIII century located in Fili Park in Moscow. Originally consisted of 40 mounds. By now only four mounds are visible (though I could find just three of them) and five more are hardly traceable.

Archaeological excavations took place in 1920, 1922-23 and 1952. Adult male and female inhumations in graves under mounds and one dog burial in a birch casket were found.
Included among the grave goods were bronze and glass bracelets, finger rings, numerous women's silver seven-blade temporal rings, carnelian beads, iron sickle (in female burial), ceramics, fragments of cloth and a leather burse. Finds are kept in the State Historical Museum and the History Museum of Moscow.
