Ancient Settlement in Antalya Province, Turkey

Ancient town dating back to before the 8th Century BCE, according to Hittite inscriptions found elsewhere. The city reached its peak under the Romans and boasts a large theatre, an agora, a nymphaion, baths, and a stadium.

Aspendos
Aspendos submitted by AlexHunger : Roman aqueduct at Aspendos. The aqueduct was pressurised and was able to move water up and down a couple of levels. This saved building material over long stretches.
