- found a water bottle full of piss at the base of the grand gallery, almost an impressive feat given how public the tunnel is.

There are 3 chambers and a Grand Gallery angled passage.
There are 3 satelite Pyramids for members of Khufu's familly.
A ceremonial funeral barque was also found at the foot of the pyramid, which is now displayed in a special building. One has to purchase a ticket at 8 AM in order to visit the interior. 4th Dynasty Pharao Khufu was the son of Sneferu and Queen Hetepheres who finally mastered the art and logistics of building pyramids. There is only one small ivory statue of Khufu in existance, which is exhibited in the Cairo museum.
Part of the Great Pyramids area with Khufu's Pyramid, Khafre's Pyramid, Menkaure's Pyramid, Great Sphinx and Mastaba Cemetery.
