Among a few beautifully decorated grave slabs outside the church of Colamine sous Vodable, we can see an 80cm high standing stone, a cross deeply engraved on the south-east side, and a string of four thinly engraved crosses at the back. It could be a Christianised menhir. I could not find any other information about it.
The Cluny church was built on a knoll. It was built by the clunisiens monks from the village of Sauxillanges and its dedicated to St Mary. It was probably built between the 10th and 11th century. The church is well known by its medieval altarpiece and some medieval paintings on its walls.
