Stone Fort in Greek Islands (Aegean etc)
The Symi Castle is located on top of the hill near the main town of Symi island. It includes Byzantine fortifications and a castle build by Knights of Malta, but the oldest settlement here dates from ancient times. Remains of the original Acropolis with parts of cyclopic walls are still visible.
