Potami Kouros submitted by Bjorn : Site in Greek Islands (Aegean etc) The face is completely missing. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Carving in Greek Islands (Aegean etc). Up in the mountains, in the middle of nowhere, after an hours walk from the village of Ano Potamia, Naxos, I found this slender Kouros (young man).

There is very little written information about him, but let me clarify that is not the Kouros of Flerio/Melanes or the one at Apollonas.

However I believe it is close to the Flerio Kouros (and they looks very similar too), so the route I took from Ano Potamia is possibly not the best one.

This nameless third kouros can be seen here -1- -2- -3-.

Thanks for spotting that! I felt an error had been made.
Here are the correct-ish coordinates for Ano Potamia:

37.074902N and 25.447769E

From there a path leads northbound to the Kouros. Ask local people for further directions.
