Minoan settlement in Crete. Remains of the Minoan settlement of Stylos are located on the northern slope of a mountain, South-East of the tholos tomb. The site was occupied since the Early Minoan period and was abandoned in the Late Minoan IIIC period. The major structure is a partly preserved pottery kiln (14th-13th century BC), accompanied by a building which incorporates a natural cave. The finds include sherds of pithoi, spindle whorls and grindstones.
