mfrincu visited on 1st Aug 2012 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 4 The initial Dacian capital. There are few fortified houses visible as well as a religious sanctuary.
Dacian Hiford predating Roman invasion
Citadel of the Dacian kingdom before arival of the Romans in heavily forested area. It is the most accessible of the Dacian hillforts wth only a short distance to be covered on a well maintained gravel road from the main paved road. The site consists of 2 Keeps or tower in the middle and northern ends and fortifications on the south end. There are 5 temples with column bases on the east and northern perimeter. 555 Meters altitude Unesco Wolrd Heritage Site.
