Large Tholos attributed to Aegistus, murderer of Agamemnon and lover of Clytaemnestra, by Schlieman but dating to about 1500 BCE, well before the Trojan war. It is in fact believed to be one of the oldest tombs at Mycenae. It has a beehive structure with a diameter of 13 metres while the original height is believed to have been 13 metres, although the top could not be restored. The dromos is 22 metres long and 4.5 metres wide. The entrance is 5 metres tall and 2 metres wide.
