Cave or Rock Shelter in Puglia
The Grotta Paglicci is one of the most important caves of Puglia. 45.000 artifacts like tools and human bones have been found in this cave (34.000 and 28.000 BCE). The cave also occupies palaeolithic hand and horse paintings. Today the cave is in danger of collapsing and not opened for the public. The findings could be seen in the nearby Rignano Garganico museum.
