This site is not far away from the Dragseidet burial field, but it is not sure if the two sites are connected in any way because of the different category of the two sites.
This site consists of a large stone circle or "fence" made of smaller rocks, about 20-30cm in diameter. It is surrounding a large natural boulder, it is almost round-shaped, but has one larger flat side turned up. It is very similar to the sacrificial site of Leivset, and is considered to be of the same type.
It is not sure however if this is a sami sacrificial site, or something older and even from another culture! The typical sami sacrificial sites is made of natural stone outcrops or similar. it is possible that this site is very old, even older than the sami culture!
It is located in a deep birch forest, and the site can be hard to find in the deep forest and brush!
There are also two burial cairns from the iron age located about 100 metres to the west, closer to the sea on a small hill overlooking the sea. It is not sure if this cairns have any connection to the sacrificial site.
Both of them are plundered, they are about 10-12 metres in diameter and one of them has a small standing stone at the side of the cairn. Because of the plundering, the stone "coffin" is open, and it is possible to see the larger stone slabs that once made the burial chamber.
