Poseidonia Temple of Hera submitted by h_fenton : Temple of Hera, this is the oldest temple at Poseidonia / Paestum built from around 550BCE in the doric style. The interior is split into two naves and with the absence of any religious features this led early historians and archaeologists to suggest that this may be a civil building possibly Roman in date, this led to the temple becoming known as the Basilica.
