Ancient Settlement in Honshū

Goshono Iseki is an ancient settlement side of Jomon-time Japan,
Today it is a open air museum with an exhibition hall. Visitors enter this place through a spectacular suspended bridge with a glass floor
Very much is done to give you the impression of getting back in time and being a Jomon yourself.
For example an originary forest, a multimedia show around a hut, and one with a glass floor.
Besides many artifacts found in the site are also exhibited.
Typical Jomon houses can be visited and also misshapen stone circles : one of the circle has a small menhir and another has a flat rock.
