Boeddel visited on 11th Apr 2022 - their rating: Amb: 5 Access: 3 This is on a hiking trail in the very north of the island, and this hike is simply a must for anyone who is on this island. I've been there on this hiking trail in all kinds of weather (except for hail :D ) and know every corner, and it's always such beautiful in a different way. In the tourist season, however, you should be there early in the morning or late in the evening, otherwise the beautiful atmosphere will be disturbed by other people. Because it is one of the highlights for every tourist and local on the island.
This stone spiral was erected by tourists.
According to the former lighthouse keeper Mogens Christensen, the phenomenon occurred one summer around 1980.
A few tourists had laid the first stones and this was the beginning of something much bigger, over the years this stone formation was formed which can now be seen there on one of the most beautiful hiking trails on the island.
