Standing Stone (Menhir) in Bohemia

Although this 1m tall sandstone was erected in this place on the 21.12.2012 (that important Mayan date..), I wouldn't call it modern menhir. The stone was found on the northern slope of the plateau, where famous Kounov alignment is located, about 50km from Prague. There are traces of hard carving on the stone and the area north of the Kounov is well known for its megalithic monuments. There is a good probability that this stone is top part of the ancient fallen menhir. The group of stone-enthusiasts moved this stone to the old mystical place of Vyšehrad to symbolize New beginning. There are four more standing stones of the ancient origin nearby anyway.
