Barrow Cemetery in Honshū
A rare example of the octagonal-pyramid shaped tumulus in the Eastern Japan. The top of the mound was scooped in the late 19th century to build a shinto shrine there, so the shape of the mound is now unclear. The position of the chamber is indicated by coloured bricks placed on the mound.
