Rock Cut Tomb in Honshū

8 of 9 rock-cut-tombs on the roadside still remain. The tomb no.8, the 2nd one from the north, has carvings of round faces: 5 faces on the innermost wall, 4 of them are clearly recognized; 3 faces on the left wall, 2 of them are clear.
Another rock-cut-tombs with carvings, Dōgoshita Yokoana (堂後下横穴), once existed just few yards away but were completely demolished by the construction of the parking area of a sports ground.
