Chambered Cairn in Honshū
On the ridge (=Oné) of Mount Hatagashira behind a graveyard, nearly 40 tumuli (soil mounds) and chambered cairns (rock mounds) were built, but a quarry destroyed the half of mount and mounds. Now 24 of them survives. Mounds no.19 to no.24 which occupy the heights are chambered cairns. No.26 is now placed in the garden of Shinshiro Youth House (新城青年の家), 6km away from its original position.
