Modern Stone Circle / Monolith in Honshū
A modern gardener Mirei SHIGEMORI (1896-1975) built a grandeur dry landscape garden in the boundary of Kishiwada Castle in 1953. It was not until next year the main Tenshu-kaku tower of the castle was reconstructed, the view of the garden looking down from the tower is superb.
Open 10:00-16:00, closed on Monday and the days around the new Years Day, admission 300 Japanese Yen (2024 price).
