Standing Stone (Menhir) in Nord-Trøndelag
Next to a small walking path between Fånes and Laberget is a beautiful standing stone. The path starts where the road ends at Vigtilvegen. From there it is around 200 metres to the stone. There are also other burial monuments like cairns nearby and inside the forest.
The stone is 2,5 metres in height, around 80cm wide at the base and around 30cm thick. Around half a metre from the ground the stone thickens a little before getting narrower at the top.
The stone used to be located around 75 metres to the south east but has been moved to this location in 1920.
