Marks Tey Puddingstone
Marks Tey Puddingstone submitted by Thorgrim : A puddingstone boulder is said to be buried at the foot of the church tower, but I could not find it. The absence of building stone in Essex is shown clearly by the mixture of rubble, septaria and flint with re-claimed Roman tiles and bricks from a nearby villa. (Vote or comment on this photo)
