Les travaux de terrassement lors de l'aménagement des enceintes sportives a mis au jour des blocs de grès gris, inusité dans le secteur. Il est possible que ces blocs soient en rapport avec la Pierre Bouine, pierre borne en occitan local, qui marquait la limite de commune (ND-de-Sanilhac et Eglise-Neuve-de-Vergt). Le Lieu-dit porte le toponyme 'La Pierre grise"
Il existe un point menhir sur le flanc de colline, au nord de la salle de sport. Les pierres ne viennent pas d'un mégalithe détruit.
Les blocs ont été disposés sous les arbres, à gauche de l'entrée de l'enceinte sportive.
