Little is known of this late bronze age hoard which was apparently discovered in the vicinity of the Golf Course in the 1990s. It should not be confused with the Barkway Roman temple hoard which is on display in the British Museum.

The Barkway Bronze Age hoard contains mostly damaged items, miscasts and Scrap metal. It is currently little documented (mainly in local government planning documents).
