Piramide de Teopanzolco is a large pyramid constructed by tribe of Tlahuicas, one of the most loyal allies of the Aztecs. The name of this place in Nahuatl language means "the place of the old temple". The pyramid is sourrounded by numerous ceremonial platforms, probably it was site of placing human sacrifices. The preserved ruins are dated for Post-Classic period (14th-16th century AC).
