Artificial Mound in Great Lakes Midwest
On private property. One of the most prominent archaeological sites in southeast Michigan. Dated to approx. 700-1000 years ago. When excavated in mid-1930s, over 400 individuals were recorded. One of the largest sources of moundbuilder artifacts in the state and the country.
