Millstreet Country Park
Millstreet Country Park submitted by frogcottage42 : This is described as a shepherds hut and has been partially restored It is typical of the sensible approach the park have taken to reconstruction. This is marked on OS and the bottom courses of stone are prehistoric. (Vote or comment on this photo)

There are many sites which claim to preserve archaeology and the landscape but few succeed to this extent.
It is well landscaped, well managed, offers great access and a variety of history, wildlife and peaceful walks in an imaginatively engineered retreat.
Friendly, helpful staff, reasonable prices for both entry and refreshments and facilities which require most of a day to incorporate come together to make this a must visit attraction for the SW.
