Portal Dolmen in Co. Clare
This small portal dolmen is at the edge of a field at the end of a steep kilometre long farm track leading from a minor road near the R465. The dolmen has collapsed but the main features are still clearly visible. The views from the top of the track over the valley to Doon Lough are superb.
