Calendar II submitted by Sig : Betty Sincerbeaux, the lady most responsible for waking the rest of us up to the importance of "megalithic New England" stands infront of Calendar II, a dry stone chamber in central Vermont. (Vote or comment on this photo)
This is one of the more famous underground stone chambers in New England.

There is no evidence that they were used for burials, but forty per cent of them were constructed using sacred geometrical ratios, were oriented towards a significant horizonal astronomical event, [and, according to some dowsers, were built on Earth Energy power centres.]

I am not including any lattitudes or longititudes as most owners do not want the public to know where they are. Site coordinates given for nearest village.
