Ancient Settlement.

Archaeological Dig in advance of the expansion of a Casino Resort has uncovered what appear to be a seasonal settlement from ~7000 BC. Pit houses with timber framing and/or supports were built into a hill side.
The site is within the Mashantucket Pequod Reservation.
