This huge site on a very strategic hill has several features.

-The largest part is the Roman City of Acinipo, a enourmous city on a wide hill containing a Roman Theater (2000 visitors), Thermal Baths and Domus. Most is not yet excevated. This city was so rich and prosperous that it even had its own coins.

- The small part shows the remains of the older part of round houses that date back to the nineth century BC. Its characteristics are typical of the homes of the autochthonous population of the southern Iberia at the end of the Prehistory: a circular plant, with a stone plinth, adobe walls and vegetal conical roof. The access door was preceded by a small pavement made of stone on which a light structure was probably placed as an awning. Inside each house is a small fireplace, which could be used for making food of to heat in wintertime. In its interiours were remains of Phoenician amphoras, countaining samples of salted fish, proof of the trade that excisted between Acinipo and the Mediteranian coast. T
he coordinates of this part 36.8321351, -5.2359873
