St Agnes Cornish Cross
St Agnes Cornish Cross submitted by hamish : The Cornish cross beside the porch of St Agnes Parish Church. (Vote or comment on this photo)
St Agnes Cornish Cross stands just beside the porch of the parish church. It is well preserved and is traditionally at the cross roads. The cross dates back to the 7th century and maybe older.

During excavations inside the Church, ancient foundations were found which suggest a Celtic chapel on the site.
