I came upon this after taking a wrong turn. Great looking Stone. I believe it has been re-erected at some time.

By Dowsing it seems to line up nicely with the Quartz Stone in the hedge on the Church yard of St Eval Church.

notes from my visit 25 Sept 2012.

It was easy to find the large 3m standing stone to the south side of the airfield, re-erected at the road junction, probably when the airfield was built. It's a lovely quartz stone, and positively gleams in the low afternoon sunlight.

Not far away is another much smaller block of quartz, whether it is of any significance I don't know.

As leaving, witness a slight car crash at the junction with a bloke going way too fast to stop and hitting a girl waiting to turn. Nobody hurt.
