This very tall standing stone (3.5m) is on private land and permission must be obtained from Brynmaen Farm.

Brynmaen Standing Stone
Brynmaen Standing Stone submitted by Horatio : 3.5m high, 1.1m wide and 0.4m thick, myself at 5'8" for scale. Mr Jones, the land owner was very accommodating and pleasant to chat with even if somewhat surprised that people want to go to the stone, as in his words "it's just a stone" I, guess these are same sentiments of most of our friends and family, they are mine. Brynmaen Standing Stone
Brynmaen Standing Stone submitted by Horatio : Brynmaen Standing stone looking from the west as you approach it from the farm. An imposing stone with a slight lean, makes me wonder how much is below ground, as to me it felt slightly top heavy, either way a lovely stone that needs to be seen to be appreciated. The edge of the Black Mountain can be seen in the background . (Vote or comment on this photo)

Brynmaen Standing Stone submitted by sem : According to the farmer who owns this land there were a few stones in the area. Save this one, they were all destroyed at the turn of the 20st century by local christien ministers.

Please not that you can click on the 'AR' symbol on the right hand side to use your mobile device to project the stone into your location using Augmented Reality. Once clicked it will display a QR code - use your mobile device's camera to trigger the AR, then follow the instructions. It's very straightforward.
You should see the stone at full size in your physical space.

Love to know what you think.
