Ulbster
Ulbster submitted by Sunny100 : Illustration by J. Romilly Allen of The Ulbster class II Pictish cross-slab. It probably dates from somewhere between the 6th-8th century CE. The back-face has a cross formed from knotwork, and there are various mythical creatures as well as symbols including a crescent, V rod and double disc with spirals. (Vote or comment on this photo)
