Round Barrow(s) in Denbighshire

Situated within the Tom Dongen wood that covers high ground above a field south of Rhewl Felyn farm the site can be reached along a narrow lane that leads from the A5104 at Bryn Bras.

The barrow has a diameter of 20m and it is raised to a height of 2m. This is a typical turf covered barrow and, although heavily overgrown, it stands proud of the undergrowth that covers the forest floor. The east side of the barrow has been excavated suggesting that the contents have been removed.
