Misc. Earthwork in Somerset

Found this earthworks indicated on an OS map and decided to have a look. The area is quite big but is faint - indicated by slight mound and change in vegetation. Anyone have any further information?

Small network of earthworks at edge of original road in and out of Burnham in a sheep field! mind your footing. Local knowledge on the earthworks is little if non existant.

One small standing stone near north edge, unknown if placed there, or abandoned naturally

Thanks Sunny, I came to the same conclusion, it's listed as a moated site, so not old enough for us unless there is any folklore or other suggestion that it may have a prehistoric origin. It will have to go in a few days but thanks to Phil for posting it.
