Bind Barrow submitted by JimChampion : Looking east towards Bind Barrow. The trough in the foreground is for the sheep that graze this open access land on the hill to the east of Burton Beach (between the car park and the caravan site). Round Barrow in Dorset

A bowl barrow in a prominent position on a knoll above Burton Beach. The mound is 17 metres in diameter and over half a metre high, its ditch is filled in. The mound was damaged by military activity during the Second World War - the hill makes a good lookout over the bay and there is a brick pillbox a few metres to the west.

Access The barrow is on National Trust open access land at Burton Beach, south of Burton Bradstock village. The beach car park adjoins the field containing the barrow. The barrow is described on information boards at the beach.
