Glendue Burn Standing Stone
Glendue Burn Standing Stone submitted by David : It'll soon be lost in the trees but can just about be identified from the road, with care. The Pennine Way walkers very usually travel from south to north - nobody knows why. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Possible Standing Stone in Northumberland

Near to the Pennine Way, which coincides here with the ancient Maiden Way. Park by the gate for Whitwham and watch out for fast quiet traffic, including motorbikes.
