Ancient Cross in Cumbria

The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) tells us that this market cross used to stand outside St. Andrew's Church in Sedbergh - see their entry for Old Market Cross, Sedbergh, Cumbria.

TNA quote from a report by AE Platt from 1876: "there was a cross standing in the Market Place adjoining the churchyard on the north, but the last remains of it, and the stone steps it stood on, were taken away some years since by private persons, and may now be seen used as gateposts to a farmyard, some ten miles from their original position."

Does anyone know what has become of this old cross?

Note: Does anyone in and around Sedbergh know what happened to this old cross and the steps on which it stood? Please let us know any comments or information which might help - thanks!
