Standing Stone (Menhir) in Staffordshire

The "curiously-shaped" Ineaz Stone is listed as a "mere stone" on an Oakley Park Estate map of circa 1710 AD. It is (or was) just to the north of Oakley Hall and appears on OS maps 1880-1952 as "Stone". It is not on OS 1965, however.

This perhaps suggests a relationship with The Devil's Ring and Finger? In the right area for it. I'll see what I can find given a chance.
