The allée couverte is today to be found beside the town football stadium, in an empty plot presumably left from building on after the monument was discovered at the time of the development.
The allée is 17 metres in length, with the northern half much better preserved than the southern half. It is made from 4 different kinds of rock; grey sandstone, pink and grey granite and some white quartz blocks.
Despite being signposted from several places, this was not the easiest monument to find!
