mfrincu visited on 16th Nov 2014 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 5 Access: 4 The place consists of hundreds of petroglyphs with others possibly hidden around. Most are in excellent condition. I suspect at least one solstice marker there but someone will have to go and verify.

Rock Art in California. This is another site of the Mohave people, containing more than 700 petroglyphs some thought to be connected with the summer solstice. The place offers a fantastic view of the Colorado river valley to the east.

The site itself is located at the entrance of the canyon and explorers can venture inside it to seek other ancient markings. You can get to the site by taking Nevada Route 163 from the Arizona border and making a right turn on the Christmas Tree Pass dirt road. 2WD vehicles can easily navigate their way until the parking lot located 5 minutes from the canyon entrance.
